  Re: LA does something right...

The funny thing I find about your post is that everything except this last paragraph of yours made perfect sense. :-) <gdr> Cheers ... Geoffrey Hyde Whytcross, Benjamin <BWhytcro@pacificaccess.com.au> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: New Promo at TRU

(...) I was about to say, "what's new here?" when I realized that this is in .au... Interesting, we don't have either of those sets available separately here in the US (that I've seen at least). Frank (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  New Promo at TRU

Hi All, While browsing the lego shelves at TRU, I noticed they are selling a US based Arctic theme bonus pact containing sets 6578 and 6586 for just under $14.00. As the 6586 normally goes for closer to $20.00, this seems to be a good deal. The 6578 (...) (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: When is Lego actually considered old?

Hi Kerry, Like most lego sets the early technic sets contained rare if not unique pieces. Even if you had spares of these pieces, the sets are worth far more with original instructions than with scans. These sets are collector items, originality is (...) (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  LA does something right...

While talking to a manager (?) at a toyworld near work at lunch today I found out a little bit of info about the soccer sets. It seems that these sets are popular, as the local store has sold out, and they were told by LA that they are on (...) (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

(...) bucks, whatever their size. I've noticed this but find it curious because a lot of those earlier sets: 1. don't seem to require a lot of really specialised Technics parts 2. have instructions on-line on brickshelf I've never actively pursued (...)   Re: LegOz 2000.7

Hi Ben. A couple of things I'll be bringing: 1. My technic helicopter - no ordinary helicopter, 2. A few other technic sets (constructed) I've acquired lately (seem to be mostly aeronautical), 3. ***** FOR SALE ***** 8299 sub with CD (unopened) (...)   LegOz 2000.7

It's nearly here again...That's right, LegOz 2000.7 is less than one week away.   Re: LegOz 2000.7 parts wanted list [not finished]

Hi Ben Your wants list is acknowledged. The search will begin this afternoon, though don't hold your hopes too high for the Fabuland extras :) (cos I need much the same). I will let you know what I can provide you with tomorrow (thursday) by email. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

LegOz 2000.7 parts wanted list [not finished]

As no-one else has done anything about this [and as LegOz is a week and a bit away] I thought I'd start the ball rolling with an intermediate parts wanted list. I'll post a more up-to-date one on the weekend if I get a chance. Just remember: LegOz (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)
