Re: anyone in Aus bought from DYA?

Excellent, Words of recommendation from others beats marketing/commericals anyday [1]. I'll probably do a check of available funds and see what I can get. Anyone else interested in getting anything?   anyone in Aus bought from DYA?

Anyone here bought stuff from DYA in France? What were shipping costs like? that is if they ship here in the first place. Would you say its a good service? I'm thinking I'd like to get a few things they have available. Santosh (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

Sounds like bureaucracy to me ... "Why should we give them that if they aren't going to use it?" kind of attitude. Would it absolutely kill their internet servers to give you some properly threaded news posting access? One other thing I should (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Thhat's not a bad idea, except for one minor detail...The program is installed on the email server our company uses, which is owned and run by the company ours works for. The software on the computer I use is Outlook, but the server that sends out (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

I reckon you should just rip out MS Exchange on your end and install a decent news reader. ;-) That would fix it even better than Todd could IMHO. :-) I use Outlook Express myself, it seems to work fine with newsgroups. It's all up to you, though - (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

RE: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

Well, the only way to fix it is from Todd's end. If he could find a way of arranging email posts [at least those from me] based on the subject and who sent the message I'm replying to, then it would go away. At this end, there's little chance of (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

Would there be any chance, Benjamin, that you'd be able to sort out the problem your newsgroup reply function seems to have with putting all replies you send under the main header? All this zigging ang zagging is beginning to give me a headache!! (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

What sort of old fashioned Technic parts are you after? [there's more and less than whats on the list :) ] Actually, a cheaper way to store parts is to get the insert boxes from the larger sets, and put the parts in these. As they are all the same (...)
