What sort of old fashioned Technic parts are you after? [there's more and less than whats on the list :) ] Actually, a cheaper way to store parts is to get the insert boxes from the larger sets, and put the parts in these. As they are all the same (...) I would ask around in .general to see if anyone is willing to be a "drop shipment" location for you. I would not be a good person, as I get too many packages and I wouldn't want yours to get mixed up with mine. But I'm sure someone would be willing! (...)
