  Re: Next Victorian 'LegOz' gathering...

(...) Hi Ben. My travel plans have changed, and I'll now be along to this one (Yes, I'm still going to the US). I won't have much to offer though - building time has been limited lately.   Next Victorian 'LegOz' gathering...

G'day all, Just a short note to let everyone know about our next 'MUGS' gathering this coming Sunday [22nd]. (...) Groom in the front, bride in the back (hanging onto the roll bar!) is traditional. Cheers Richie Dulin (Images of the 198x wedding of Simon and Vicki the Vet on A Country Practice have sprung into my mind). (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: I'm going to The Wedding!!!

(...) Can fit 2 figs side by side on a 4-wide, just can't have doors. But then a lot of Aussie utes don't have doors anyway.... ROSCO (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: I'm going to The Wedding!!!

(...) 4-wide is more in the Classic LEGO style, but as Ross says the side-by-side effect is pretty desirable. Maybe something in 6-wide using half-stud offsets like the SW Landspeeder, although that makes it trickier to use the old mudguards etc. (...)   Re: So what about 9v level crossings?

(...) No problem ! In fact you could use white and pretend that part is concrete. The barriers (red + white alt.) might be a bit trickier, maybe the little tubes are a bit more common in Technic sets. pete.w (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: I'm going to The Wedding!!!

(...) I can give this a burl -- probably don't need the instructions. Where do you fit the roll-bar? Do people think that a traditional 4-wide car is okay, or would a 6 or 8 wide be better? I'm leaning toward the 8-wide option myself -- they can (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)
