Hi All, I just wanted to send out a thought about fests, events, and parties. I have attended 3 BrickFests, 2 BricksWests, 1 LEGO World, 2 PNLTC "all-hands" parties, and several meetings that included AFOLs from around the world... (please don't (...) I've got two folders, one of (URL) 'under construction'> photos, and the second of (URL) completed model.> The specs: From the base to the top of the tower is just over 7 feet tall.   GMLTC Plummer Building project completed!
 
We finished it up on Saturday, September 25th. Finished height is just over 7 feet tall, using a guestimate of 55,000 to 60,000 bricks. Total design time was around 150 hours, total build time was around 400 man-hours, not counting all the time we (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org, lugnet.build, FTX) !

Nope, what I was saying is that your own preconceived biases made you assume that someone asking for a hetero group at this present time was doing so 'to get even/keep up with the homosexual Joneses' rather than it being a legitimate request.
