| MichLUG will be displaying at the 1st Annual Midwest Lego Train Show in Wheaton, IL the weekend of December 6th & 7th, from 9am till 4pm. MichLUG will display a 5ft by 10ft Castle/Pirate layout as well as a 10ft by 15ft Train/Town layout. MichLTC's (...) | As a followup to the announcment, here are some photos from the setup day yesterday. Classic Castle fans should note the pretty extensive medieval village in one corner of the display (separated from the rest of the layout by a "reality barrier" of (...) There will be over 100 tables of model trains and railroadiana for sale, several operating layouts, and trains (...) | (...) Do things that people pay for. That's not supposed to be a smart aleck answer... the most common way is to be compensated for exhibiting at a show but it can also include creating things on commission or (potentially) selling things. (22 years ago, 29-Oct-03, to lugnet.org)
