Okay, I've got a question to all those out there...what's the proper procedure
for starting a new LUG?

I reside in Florida, in Tallahassee. For those of you unfamiliar with the
layout of Florida, that's quite a long distance from Orlando, Tampa, and
especially Miami. I know there are two LUG's in Florida already (GFTLUG and
GFLUG)...but I'm thinking of a Northwest Florida Lug...so tell me, is that
redundant? I know that it's not easy for me to make it down south Florida all
the time? DixieLUG seems closer (their last meeting was in Macon, GA) but
that's another state.

Thoughts, anyone?

Tim

I don't know the exact amount of people you need to "officially" call
yourselves a lug, but when you have like 3 or 4 people, write an e-mail
to Todd Lehman, and see if he will give you a newsgroup.  But that is only
"formal" recognition of the on-line Lego Community.

If you had only 1 or 2 others in your particular area, who's to say whether
or not that is a LUG...

In my opinion, if you have more than one person and you are doing something
associated with anything with Lego then I would consider it a LUG.  Some
would say a group is made up of 3 or more people....

Like I said those werer my thoughts.
