Re: LUGWORLD map pages 1st try at some pages.

(...) Hmmm.. Where do you work? Just curious. And I don't know why census blocks are confidential - but like everything about the census is. I can see why personal information is confidential (title 13 USC, got that one memorized by now) but not (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Question about LEGOz for LUGMAP.

(...) Hi Eric! (...) LegOz (as opposed to LEGOz - too similar to LEGO and LEGOs) represents the whole of Australia. Whilst most (in fact all at this stage) of the action is taking place in Sydney + surrounds, we would like it to move nation-wide as (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org)

  Question about LEGOz for LUGMAP.

Hey all, I just have a quick question about LEGOz. As some of you know I am working on the LUGMAP, (URL) am wondering what the best way to represent LEGOz is. Does LEGOz represent all of Australia or does it represent a smaller section of Australia (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org)

Re: LUG World Map 1st Version complete.

(...) I will see what I can do. Shouldn't be a problem though. I have received a number of tweaks to the maps so I will be makings a few changes when I get back from my current business trip. Thanks, Eric Kingsley The New England LEGO Users Group (...) (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: LUG World Map 1st Version complete.

(...) I'm the head co-ordinator of UKLUG. The surface area it covers is Great Britain (England, Wales, Scotland and the small islands). None of Ireland (North or South) is covered. Can we be orange (HTML #FF9966) please :-) Carbon 60 (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: LUG World Map 1st Version complete.

(...) Looks like I did. Thanks for the pointer I was unaware of UKLUG. I will add it in after I get back from my current business trip. If anyone is aware of any other groups I missed please let me know. Eric Kingsley The New England LEGO Users (...) (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: LUG World Map 1st Version complete.

(...) Todd (...) [big snip] Great job, Eric. Just one question: didn't you miss the UKLUG ((URL) in the map of Europe? Mario (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: LUG World Map 1st Version complete.

(...) For those that may be wondering the maps can be found at: (URL) are also many links to these maps from the LUGNET home page as well as in the lugnet.org.* and lugnet.loc.* hierarchies. Finally I just wanted to remind people that when you get (...) (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.it, lugnet.org.ca, lugnet.org.nl, lugnet.org.us)

Re: LUG World Map 1st Version complete.

(...) I am not sure but I think you need to drill in one more level. For example when you drill into the US in the North America Map you get two maps. One for LUG's and one for LTC's. These maps are really Thumbnails of the maps for the two groups. (...) (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: LUGWORLD map pages 1st try at some pages.

(...) No, but we have digital versions of the census block groups in our library at work. It wouldn't suprise me if they are confidential, our library has some strange quirks about security. -chris (26 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org)
