Depending on the application. A Firewall/NAT doesn't need much of
anything, especially if it's doing the logging to a network syslog
server. 8M should be plenty for that :) Of course, my 486 is running
RH6.0, because the newer versions didn't want to install on it's 200M
drive :)

| (...) I don't think 6.1 would install without 32 MB of ram -- that's when they went to the python-based installer. And 8.0 and 9 require at least double that again. :) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
