  SCO -- Micro$oft's Lap Dog

Disgusting. A few million dollars investment by Micro$uck in SCO and suddenly the smaller company is all piss and vinegar, snapping at its UNIX brethren with a ridiculous threat to sue any company using Linux on a server if they don't cough up a (...)   Re: Matrix Weapon Tech

(...) I actually found myself being very invested in the ultimate fate of the Osiris crew, and I'm undecided as to whether I liked Osiris or the 2R two-parter best. What I do know for sure is that I consider the four Wachowski pieces to be much (...) (21 years ago, 1-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)

Any electronic or magnetic memory would be erased during an EMP, unless entirely enclosed completely in a superconductor (perhaps the hovership is designed to enclose critical data before (...) WARNING: I forgot to put a spoiler warning for those of you who have not seen Animatrix or Reloaded yet. (...) No problem. "Osiris" is pretty much just a back story for "Reloaded." (...) Prior to the release of Animatrix, I would have said it was just the EMP generator, since Trinity (I think) clearly stated that it was their only defense against the Sentinels. (...) Well that's the thing. It's a last resort sort of weapon in the movies. I'm sure every ship has it but it's a bad idea to use it too soon (as referenced in Reloaded) (URL) j o n (URL) zemi.net> (URL) the-shipyard> (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)

  Matrix Weapon Tech

To my knowledge all we've seen is the EMP used in the first movie. There was also the laser thing that Tank used on Cypher, but I don't know if that sort of thing could be mounted on the exterior of the ship. I don't own the first movie, so I might (...)   Laptop batteries

I'm looking for somewhere to get a replacement battery for my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop.
