No problem. Just stop thinking banner.......... start thinking 'logo'.
Have yourself or a graphic artist do up a professional looking logo graphic
for you. Put this *reasonable* sized graphic at the bottom of each and
every page you make. Make the image a clickable link to your own site which
describes your services. Under the image, put words to the effect, "This
site designed and maintained by (your company name)". If people are
impressed with the work they are seeing, on the page they are reading, then
they will follow your link. If they aren't, then you won't annoy anyone or
scare off customers for your own clients.

Nah, frames do a good enough job of ruining designs. :)
Seriously, I still think of frames as the 'new Coke of the internet'. Sure
they were neat when they first came out. But once people got a taste of
them, they wanted the real thing. (O.K. that wasn't too serious, but you
get what I mean.)

Again, I would still go with a very high quality logo. See above for usage.
