Maybe this is some running joke that I am unaware of -- if so, just
disregard what follows.

The same utility you use to unzip compressed files will more than likely
create them as well.  Or you could use something like WinZip, WinRar,
WinAce, Aladdin StuffIt, etc. to create such files.  To my knowledge, most
of those applications are easily found and downloaded, and while they are
not free -- they tend to be merely "nagware" which means you can use them
possibly forever without necessarily having to buy them -- esp. if your use
is very limited (that's probably not what the licensing agreement says, but
let's be practical).

In Windows, and once something like WinZip is installed on your system, you
can usually right-click a space on the desktop or within a drive or
directory and get a menu to create a new file. Select the file type "Winzip
File."  At this point you may wish to rename the file something cool like
"mhead000.zip." Finally, you can just drag and drop files into the zip file
just like it was a directory.  It's even possible to open the zip file up to
double check its contents. When you are done, this same zip file can be sent
to anyone as a single file even though it is actually several compressed
files inside of the zip file (a.k.a. an "archive" file).

Hope this helps,
