Fantastic idea... Do the mirrors create little spots of light, or does the
light diffuse enough not to be noticed?  I imagine that there would be “hot
spots” from the mirrors... I bet you get a more diffused light from the
aluminum foil idea... Both have terrific applications.

I have been having problems getting my track lighting (mounted approximately
36" above table surface … halogen 65par30’s) to illuminate the insides of my
creations.

I'll be stopping on the way home from work to get lots of supplies...

Thanks for the great ideas!

*who should have realized these ideas earlier… seeing as she was a lighting
designer for 3 years)

I also have magnifying mirrors too but 5" and use them to get
Highlights. White Card(board) and Black Cards to adjust too.

Highlights are from two 5"-Mag-mirrors pointing the sun
right in at the gem-domes. Small mirrors can be placed
inside or below the camera to direct light inside a MOC.

Take a look at the Puff fish and you can see the Bright-Line
of the mirror http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=7691
curving at the front edge. and the other three 1" a bit farther
away sun from the front of ship.

White Cards/posterboard is a must when shooting BLACK-BRICKS!
with out the clean white reflection you will get flat look.
See my nanofleets to see the problem and solution at work.
