That's odd... You're right, the system requirements page at
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/productinfo/systemreqs/
claims that Flash 5 is available for Linux. But when I try to download it
I can only get Flash 4, and the download page says the same thing:
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/alternates/
Just to be on the safe side I downloaded the latest and greatest (which
appears to be what I had for Linux, but what they hey), but the site
doesn't recognize me as a Flash 5 user.
Oh well...
