    Netscape 6 —Alan Gerber

        Re: Netscape 6 —Claus Thiim
(...) Yes, Netscrape 6 is indeed 'out'... (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

        Re: Netscape 6 —Matthew Miller
(...) Yeah. I'm not too happy with it -- it's significantly worse than the current nightly builds of Mozilla. I understand the marketing pressure to release something, anything, but it would have been so much nicer if they'd waited another month. (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) Yeah -- Netscape 3 actually sucks a lot too. Doesn't support current HTML standards. Mozilla 0.8 is out, btw. Very nice. (23 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

        Re: Netscape 6 —Kevin Loch
(...) Actually Netscape 3 is an amazingly fast browser. Runs circles around later versions and Mozilla and IE. There relatively few sites that are unusable because of javascript or other missing/ incompatable features. The news reader was the best (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

        Re: Netscape 6 —Matthew Miller
(...) Sure; same with lynx. (...) The newer HTML and XML stuff is really cool (not just "wow" cool but "well done" cool). It'd be great if more sites _could_ use that. (...) I actually use it on my P75/32mb Libretto. It's not too bad -- main problem (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
