But I also noticed a marked difference in (...) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

[following up on an earlier post...] (...) I got sick of doing calculations by hand, so I made a chart that shows a screen's DPI, given a diagonal measurement and a standard resolution: (URL) The most readable 1024x768 display I've ever seen was, (...)      (...) both on my two vaio pcg-z505* I had absolutly no problem installing RH6.2. Even the memory stick drive is supposed to be working... though I don't have any memory sticks to try it out with. :/ Havn't gotten around to get sound to work on the (...)         Sony VAIO C1VN Picturebook (was: UXGA (1600x1200) notebooks) —Todd Lehman
(...) I have a Sony VAIO C1VN Picturebook and I find that it's easier to read the screen in natural lighting than in fluorescent lighting. It actually seems dimmer in the fluorescent lighting...strange. But it's not bad. It might also be that my CRT (...) (24 years ago, 10-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
