People here at Boston University say "edjoo". And the domain has been around
since 1986, so it's likely they know. :)
It's so much less work to say. And look at usenet: no one calls the comp
hierarchy the see oh em pee hierarchy, for example.
On a related note, I wish that the Powers That Be would have chosen "web" to
designate the http schema, and that people would have standardized on "web"
as the standard hostname for web servers (a la MIT).
