Uhm, Hmm, I dunno.  It's what's installed by default from RHL6.1 when I click
the terminal icon at the bottom of the panel, and I like it.  What others
should I try?  Looks like xterm is somewhat configurable but I haven't read
its manpage carefully yet.  I gotta be able to set the font to Lucida Console,
preferably with ISO-8859-1 character encoding.  (I can do this with gnome-
terminal.)

that's always a good idea...  may I ask what it is?  looks a lot like
MEW right now :P

It's sort of a prototype I guess...just something I've been using to tinker
around with Curses.pm...  It shows me a live feed of LUGNET news articles as
they appear, and I can motor up/down in the list and view windows and mark
things as read or unread, etc.  Not really a newsreader, but it helps me stay
on top of things.

What is MEW?
