I've lost my lego inventory spreadsheet (an Excel 2000 file) to a system lock up. Actually I still have the file, but Excel refuses to open it (gives an "unable to read file" error after reading half of it) It contains all of my parts inventory (...) (24 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.general)

I'm really frustrated because they are all suffering from a schizoid ailment due to the fact that I cannot distinguish 'Jeromiah' from 'Hansel' or 'Claudia' in the Lego ant-house. Does (...) I was sure that there must be some sort of kludge, but a knowledgable sounding geek told me that it was something to do with MS changing the device driver (...) (married with children reference)... my plants even have names.... weird... i get to name servers at work too... our favorites were the names we got for (...)
