Perhaps we may view the ill-structured sentence as containing a
non-terminating Dave! A reason to avoid this construction is that there is no
guarantee of rationality, whereas the implication of rationality CAN be made
given the existence of a terminating Dave! OTOH, as I kindly illustrate for
you in this example, a non-terminating Dave! may be considered rational if it
is a repeating Dave!
