  Re: Screen Resolution Poll

(...) I disagree here. Most people do not use 640x480 if they can help it. I hate viewing pages that are designed for 640x480, because I operate at 1280x1024, and a 640x480 website is really too small to view. I personally design my web sites to (...)   Re: Screen Resolution Poll

I disagree - anyone still using 640x480 at this point is a stubborn cuss unwilling to upgrade their computer equipment when it SHOULD be ;-) I still run 640x480, actually, but that's on a Libretto, I EXPECT to have to scroll. I run 1024x768, and (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general)

  Re: Screen Resolution Poll

(...) As another 1600x1200er (with small fonts - I've got good eyesight), I plead with web page developers to consider how their pages look on high resolution screens. Lugnet uses some fonts which come out a bit too small, which puts it in the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Screen Resolution Poll

(...) Ditto. Except I use 1280x960, because pixels should be *square*. :) One problem with many web site designs is that they make text go from one side of the browser to the other. This is fine for one line, but it makes for painful reading if it's (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general)

  Screen Resolution Poll

Hello. I was just wondering what everyone's screen resolution is. I'm re- designing my website and it would be good to know at what size I should optimize it for. Personaly, I use 1024 x 768 :-D ~Nick (URL) Site Design: (URL) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general)
