Fruit Juice? Salty? I think I'm missing something here.
And yeah, cheese can be salty. I don't mean I don't like salt, I just find it
to be unnecessary on pretzels. It's all about the warm, soft dough for me.
Mmmm, starch.

It wasn't mustard, I can't take mustard on anything. Eww! :P It's not hard
cheese, either... it's the consistancy of "spreadable cheeses" of the kind you
get from The Swiss Colony or Hickory Farms, but it's made w/some kind of beer.

Auntie Anne's pretzels still do it for me, although they can be a little heavy
on the butter, and I have to watch my girlish figure.
Still, I'm going up to Salem later this month with my folks, and now I'm really
looking forward to getting a pretzel... and a pint of their Pumpkinhead Ale.
Oh, yeah. That's the stuff.

Oh, man. I can only say I agree with you completely.

No... which kind do you do that with? Where do you get them? I must admit, I
don't have the resolve to buy a pretzel and wait till I get home to nuke/toast
it. There are these things called "SuperPretzels" I se in freezer sections of
Supermarkets sometimes, but I haven't been brave enough to try them. Maybe
this process will eliminate the inherent limitations of heating bread up only
in the microwave, though...
