With Robert Bevens making such an impact on this newsgroup I came to wonder
whether he's actually any good with Lego.

Judging by all the people who were begging me for the incomplete
instructions to the Black Hawk about 4 months ago, I'd say pretty
good.

A few minutes detective work tells
me he rarely posts anyware but off-topic. He only seems to have appeared a
month ago (and is already making enamies :-)) and is interested in spaceship
prototypes. I've looked at the one or two shuttle's in the brickshelf
gallery and would describe them as:

Nothing Special

Well of course you would, and that's fine.  Still, I'd like to see you
find a Star Trek type shuttle that looks better than the one I've
built  What's that?  You can't find one?  Oh well that's a surprise.

For someone with such a high opinion of himself I'd naturally asume his Lego
building would reflect his intelligence. Incidentally if you want an
appraisel of my lego building skills I'd suggest you ask Jennifer clark for
an independant appraisel, as she's seen two of them 'in the plastic'.

Steve

I'd point you to my site for more of my models (including
instructions), but I took it down, I got tired of maintaining
something everyone took for granted.  Sure I broke some of the rules,
what with having the only archive of Star Wars instruction scans, and
I didn't have one of those goofy "This isn't the official site"
banners, and I sorta poked fun at the people who obsess a little over
James, but I don't think that really made me such a bad guy.

BTW why didn't you mention the Vortex?  Do you realize I had to
completely alter my building style just to make that?  I mean you try
altering your building style and tell me how well it works.

Robert
