I don't have the direct personal experience, but one of my wife's neighbors was in
Amway, and ended up having to declare bankruptcy - the minimum order sizes
necessary to get anything meant they ended up with a huge stock of stuff they
couldn't sell off.
This was a number of years ago, so I don't know if Amway's policies have changed or
not, but I'd avoid them like the plague unless you are ready to dive into it
fulltime, and KNOW you have a large base of people ready to buy.
