Remembering that for me these little fellows cried out for Port Block to

In cats, a friend of mine refers to it as the Musclecar Position.

Hmmm...my initial thoughts were along similar lines.
Maybe in 2870 it's actually been on the chargrill already and is cooling it's
heels. Nothing like a hot plate to make your tail thin and crispy.

Okay, I don't have/want a cat so it wasn't until Pete started making his
warm and toasty references that I figured out that the censored word in
Kevin's post was "Heat", making the phrase in question, "Cat in Heat". At
least that makes more sense than "Hat", the first thing that came to mind.

Cross-cultural checking process: is even refering to the fact that
"sometimes animals get amorous" out of bounds in American public discourse
(like a primarily adult newsgroup)? I can think of at least two popular
tunes of recent years (Blood Hound Gang's "Discovery Channel" and Nine Inch
Nails' "Closer") that would require a bit of explaining if this were the case.

I hope to be moving Florida-wards sometime next year, so any help in basics
of American etiquette would be both useful and appreciated.

(...) Some Australian films are having problems with classification in the US, mostly to do with language. 'The Dish' is one example, which only uses a four letter word once (apparently).
