I have spotted the 2870 black cat in the 'place thermometer here' pose in two
other sets while browsing the set guide.
One is 2872 - Witch's Fireplace (someone may have mentioned that).
The other is 2858 - Girl with Two Cats (of course in Belville scale, the cat
is a kitten). It's listed as a Germany - World Children's Day Promotion, so it
probably never reached our shores.
That 28xx series is a strange assortment.
