Ya, I'd say government fostered cable monopolies aren't serving the customer
interest very well, are they? If Time Warner had some competition in their
markets other than rabbit ears perhaps they wouldn't have the chutzpah to
point fingers at Disney... If Time Warner hadn't also lobbied to ban
satellites from carrying local channels, perhaps consumers would have more
choices at least in some markets.

In order for Time Warner to be able to carry the local ABC channels, Disney is insisting that Time Warner carry their new Cartoon and Soap opera channels and (...)
