Erm, which rule?
I used the example of how I feel towards Muslims as an example of my typical
reaction. As a rule, I try very hard to not judge people based upon
categories.
My feelings towards homosexuality is an exception, caused by a negative
situation I was in when I was younger. Call my homophobic (gay-fearing, not
gay-hating) feelings a kneejerk emotional reaction which I must always supress
with an equal but opposite intelligent reaction.
In other words, I know homosexuality doesn't make someone bad, I know many if
not most homosexuals are good people, but I have bad...images. And it's my
responsibility to the rest of the world that I *not* react to them. It's
still kinda surreal to me. I'm not sure if I can explain it better than that.
Cheers,
