Which I didn't ask because I don't think they're relevant. I agree
with you.
I wouldn't mind too much, personally, if there were at least legal
ways to get the stuff under medical prescription. AT least that would
be a step in the right direction?

Dubya? Never heard of the man. Not that I want to.

I didn't say it was. I thought you were saying the statute of
limitations, as a concept, was wrong.

So _what_ exactly, _is_ someone supposed to do about doing drugs
decades ago? Try and puke it up?

To tell you the truth, the whole "making it up to the victims" bit is
what creeps me out. I mean, give back $STUFF you've stolen, sure. But
the common type of interpretation like "$VICTIM has suffered
irreparable mental damage from this mugging, so she should be allowed
to kick $MUGGER in the goolies", things like that.
I still have this weird thing about faith in mankind, etc.etc., and
the ability to change, which is why I believe the whole limitations,
statute of, thing is a good thing.

Uh, oh.

How else could I respond? I don't even know the _names_ of most of
whoever you _were_ alluding to, let alone their actions.
It's not like the _specifics_ of US politics are that interesting and
relevant to me. Generalities, yeah, sure, but not the specifics.
