This is te point I get hung up on .... I don't see the two accounts as
being irreconcilable ... unless you take every word in the bible as
absolute, literal truth. If you take that extreme view, then yes,
science disproves many of the bible's claims, but if you consider that
God designed and guided the process of evolution, you can rationally be
a Christian who accepts modern science.
