However, 1 Timothy 3:2 says: "Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife,..." and 1 Timothy 3:12 says: "A deacon must be the husband of but one wife..." (both NIV). The consensus opinion of my literate coworkers seems to be that he's attempting to resign under the dark cloud of his homosexual extra-marital (...)
