Yep, it's mostly implicit. Apart from the stuff John mentioned, there are
some places where it's pretty clear, like in this combination:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some
understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance.
Revelation 3:20* Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my
voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and
he with me.
