Possibly the weapons of mass destruction will be found. If not, Blair will be
in very big trouble. He dragged an unwilling nation into war by convincing
most undecided voters that, on balance, it was necessary. If they become
convinced that he exaggerated the facts and bent the data in order to send
young men to their deaths in a pointless war, they will be deeply unwilling
to believe him again. Blair has always had a reputation of a high-wire walker
with the truth. If he topples now, there may be no safety net waiting.

What I still dont get is that even *if* they find WoMD, as some here are
banking on just so they can say I told you so..., it still in no way justifies
this war.
Find Anthrax and other bio terror stuff, find chemical labs, go ahead--the issue
from day 1 has been the line Clear and imminent danger to the US.
The fact that Iraq couldnt send a missle more than, what, 800 miles max outside
their border is showing that Dubya inflated the terror factor beyond what the
truth is.
And that is even if you find the WoMD at all--and in the thousands and
thousands of kilos suppossedly ready to go imminently, as Dubya himself said
over and over again.
This war, on any grounds that the US laid out, is entirely based on terror
inducing rhetoric, with no facts at all backing it up at all.
If it was to liberate the Iraqis, then it sould have been a world voice, not
the US enforcing its own agenda on a foreign people.
And since Iraq sill isnt liberated--that is, since they cannot choose their own
destiny, that point is also null and void--Your president is lying to us again.
Lies, damn lies and moronic rhetoric. When are you going to call for his
resignation?
