I will respond only because Chris may truly believe what he is saying. Chris, the
core of the Christian belief is this: to love the Lord your God with all your
heart, strength, and mind AND love your neighbor as yourself. Period. Everything
else is superfluous. Got it? What you are talking about with regards to usury,
theft of property, and tithing and extortion is simply B as in B, and S as in S.
If you are trying to come up with some libertarian concept which refutes the
notion of being my brother's keeper, bring it on. Better yet, let Lar [1],
because I don't think you know what you're talking about.
