Seeing how this is tax day in the US (but not tax freedom day, that comes quite a bit later in the year), this topic seems fitting... The subject quote is from this article (URL) may have the most complicated tax plan in the world... (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Guys The US tax system may be more complex than many other countries (I have no idea if this is true) but the rate of taxation is low compared to other industrialized nations.
