Barak's offer was empty (it had to be ratified in a referendum). He knew
Arafat could not accept it. Even so, what stopped Barak from making a better
offer? What right does Israel have to the West Bank, Gaza or Jerusalem
anyway? Does SH not have equal rights over Kuwait?

Israel *can* be reasonable, *does* want
peace, and have *proven* this.  The PA is populated with those that *don't*
want peace, *want* instability, and *desire* the destruction of the State of
Israel.  The *Palestinians* are the ones who need to clean house first here,
just as Egypt got her act together *first*.

Who wrecked Oslo / Oslo II? Why?

Who indeed.  It merely exemplifies the need for Israel to be negogiating with
those who actually desire peace instead of seeking more step in the
destroy-Israel agenda.

Answer the question. Netanyahu ripped up Olso/Oslo II using a wafer thin
majority.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter yesterday:

"At Camp David in 1978 and in Oslo in 1993, Israelis, Egyptians, and
Palestinians have endorsed the only reasonable prescription for peace: United
Nations Resolution 242... It condemns the acquisition of territory by force,
calls for withdrawal of Israel from the occupied territories, and provides for
Israelis to live securely and in harmony with their neighbors. There is no
other mandate whose implementation could more profoundly improve international
relationships.... War may sometimes be a necessary evil, but no matter how
necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live
together in peace by killing each other's children..."

...but the news networks are already in Iraq.
