I can only suppose you don't know the answer to this or you would have never
posed the question. The white. Oh, it's not as bad as it was during the
sixties, but since the people in charge of hiring are still overwhelmingly
white males, that's what they tend to hire. It doesn't have to be overt
racism, the herd mentality accounts for much: do you look like me, do you
sound like me, do you wear the same clothes as me?

True, but it makes things a little more tolerable to those who's only other
option was to riot in protest.
The average welfare recipient is a white female, and Republicans want their
females dependent rather than independent, so instead of having a mechanism
for helping people to get off welfare, they rot there. A waste for all
involved.

I take it you weren't around in the 60's. As to the coming white backlash
you speak of, 50 million frenchmen can't be wrong (hiding safely behind
their Maginot line). :-)
