"here" == lugnet.off-topic.debate not merely this particular thread.
Our republic is broken, at least to some extent, I gave you 3 examples of
why, out of many many many more possible ones. That's completely on topic to
where this thread is going.
Also, please note:
While I said I'd *prefer* to just work for change... that's just an
admission of weakness on my part. I'd rather "feel like" I was doing
something (as long as I was deluded enough to believe it, and believe
revolution was not necessary) than have to bother with a messy revolution,
even if that's precisely what is in fact needed. It is not in ANY WAY a
validation of your claim that working within the system is effective or
satisfactory.
This thread is not helping me remain delusional, it's reminding me yet again
why working within the system won't work.
