So I suppose that you're going to say that National Socialism wasn't
fascism because it said it wasn't?
I'd say the lot of them are close enough, as their regimes had the
requisite proportion of trampled rights and jackbooted thugs,
warmongering and usurpation, oppression and concentration camps, as not
to matter what the labels are exactly.

Agree with you there. What is morally correct and what is currently
lawful are not necessarily congruent.

But this is harder. Under some regimes it's rather hard indeed. And the
regimes where it's the hardest are in many cases (but not all) the ones
most in need of a little overthrowing. I am reminded of the frog and the
