I agree.
I'd also point out that the person who was most adamant about thinking
it is "human nature" to be selfish and not give, no matter how much
you do or do not have taken from you by the government was the person
who somewhat proudly admitted to not giving a dime/hour himself.
'Course, he also said he thinks that "the rich" (you know, everyone
with more money than him) might very well give a tiny bit more, but
they would probably just use more of their money for their own good if
they didn't have to pay it in taxes. As if that's a bad thing.
