Hmm.. It strikes me as a contradiction to call for reality as a stylized
representation of reality, but I'm nitpicking (and, anyway, I know what
you're saying). But overall I think people want realism in their fiction,
moreso than (but not to the exclusion of) reality in their media. If people
really wanted reality, C-SPAN would be the ratings leader.
OT GEEK: What's the mechanism by which email confirmations are sent out by
LUGNET? This is the fourth message I've tried to post to debate today, but
so far I've only received one "MESSAGE AWAITING DELIVERY" notification. Is
the problem LUGNET? Or is it my email server? (The latter seems more
likely, but is there anything I can do about it?)
Dave!
