(No this is not intended to be flame bait) I recently sold several older toys that I had obtained about 15 years ago, and I had _NO_CLUE_ on a value of these. (BTW, they were Zoids by Tomy) The _ONLY_ reason I decided to go with EBay v. direct (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) I certainly understand your point of view, but to me, the "big evil" of e-bay is not buying from it, but selling to it. My point is that its a very seductive trap that e-bay uses (and most auctions, to be fair) to get more money out of the marks. Most people, everytime they're outbid, they (...)
