Anyone else seen the new Megabloks "USS Kittyhawk" aircraft carrier set? I got one yesterday at TRU. Cdn $80.00 for a 1700 piece set. I weighed the box on my bathroom scale and its about 8 pounds. Those are pretty funny! I love the Planet of the Apes idea, I wish LEGO would makes some Apes sets, a nice Ape village would be cool.. ha! Looks like the Star Wars minifigs are quite popular in Japan. Now there is a company making LEGO-like minifigures of popular anime series and movies. I've just put up a web page with pictures of my latest creation - a seven foot grey skyscraper that would fit right in to Gotham City. The only unusual pieces I could detect from the box was my favorite megabloks hinge piece in white -- it is used to angle Snoopy's eyes-- and there is some use of angled bricks peculiar to (...)
