I dunno, it’d be cutting it close I think! The SSD is what? Like 10x the size
of an ISD? Which, from an area perspective would require 100 ISD’s to have
the same surface area. And the remaining 10 to try and give it some semblance
of structural integrety. Wow. And not even remotely close to a Death Star.

Jeez! I hadn’t done the math and didn’t realize that the SSD was quite so huge.
The excellent radio program This American Life ran a
story about living aboard
the aircraft carrier
USS John Stennis. One person had the tedious job of restocking the ship’s
vending machines for the crew of 5,000, twelve hours per day. I know that
droids would probably handle this kind of thing on an SSD, but yikes! How many
Womp Rat Bars might the crew consume in a day?
Hey, while we’re on the subject, I came upon
this nice SSD by Mike Taylor while
googling for MEGABLOKS MOCs. Mike doesn’t seem to have mentioned it here on
LUGNET, but I may be wrong. Though it’s not to scale with the LEGO ISD, it’s
still a cool representation.
