Im offended not by the joke but by the fact that a Tandem(?) clone minifig
was used to represent my esteemed countenance!

WRT the clone-- I dont even know what brand it actually is. It was a part
of a JAL promo set that was given to me by a family member who worked for NW
airlines. You wouldnt suppose that Id actually pay for a clone, would
you? :-)

Oh! In that case, its probably ATCO. Thats a bummer, because ATCO is from
the lower end of the clone spectrum--a pariah among pariahs.
And Im confident that you and Tim Courtney have huge stashes of clone bricks;
you both protest too much, if you want to know the truth.

Although I have to say, I was in TRU a while ago searching for a 2005 LEGO
set and I came across an impressive MegaBloks display. What particularily
caught my eye was the huge steam engine set. I told myself that I would buy
it if they ever sold it on clearance (although I never really check prices at
TRU).

I dont own that set yet, but I mentioned it briefly
here a little while back, for the
edification of my Train-happy fellow AFOLs. Millionaire Playboy gave an
extensive and generally favorable review of it
here, as well. Ill
probably wind up snagging a copy at some point because it just looks too darn
nifty to miss. I downloaded the
instructions from the MEGABLOKS site, but unfortunately there are too many
speciality pieces for me to build it from my collection.
One point of note to anyone who hasnt yet fled in boredom: this set appears to
include two examples of a new 4x3x1 window element, which is great; MEGABLOKS
has been sadly lacking overall in basic door and window elements, so I hope that
this piece shows up in other sets.
Dave!
