  Two new clone brick lines....
 
I've recently come across two different "brick construction systems". First is X Blocks Construction system, I saw an ad for this in Ultimate Fantastic Four, Issue #4. It looks like Marvel Comics is doing their own line based on Spiderman and the (...) (20 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

You're right--they're not compatible, and at a glance they don't look like they'd have much clutch power to hold bricks together. Since it's (...) (...) I believe the x-blocks are made by 'popular jegutes' (sp?) a spanish company that made exin castles, looking at the box, the bricks, & stair elements seem to be the same as the exin pieces Jeff (20 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Hi! I know of one other clone brand that no one has mentioned yet. It is called PixelBlocks. They are 1x1 translucent bricks that connect like LEGO bricks on the top and bottom but can also connect on the sides. They come in 20 different translucent (...) With the "grip lock" on the sides do they sit flush next to a LEGO brick, is there a gap, or can it not sit directly next to a LEGO brick using the studs? For me at least, (...) (...) Mike, Yes they are able to sit flush next to LEGO bricks. There is no gap. They can really add to your creations and look really cool.
