  Instruction scans?

Hiya A quick question (sorry, if it's been asked before) : does anyone know if there are any websites that have scans of Mega Bloks instructions - the equivalent of Brickshelf? I quite like some of their military designs (the tanks etc) .. but I (...) (22 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Compatible?

I find it altogether interesting – they're putting in a great effort to fill in the gaps where Lego has left off... these Dragon lines in the stead of castle, the military line (which I am awed by every time I pass it by in a store) and so forth.   Re: Compatible?

(...) I've been lamenting that recently myself, but now that I think about it, MegaBloks has been using large, juniorized pieces for years. Their Western and Fantasy sets from ~1996 used 16x8x8 house such as is shown here: (URL) was also a large (...) (22 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Compatible?

(...) I think not... the profile seems too rounded and too tall, and the texture is different. (...) No problem for me ;-) Is it just me, or do others think that Mega-blox is increasingly going down the route of large, specialised pieces that we (...) Generally I try to model my part names after the LDraw naming standards, but this bit didn't quite fit. It's sort of like the "Train (...)   Re: Part Name Suggestion?

(...) If I were looking for that part, I would look for the keyword "gate". So I think you'd better have that word in the name. "Gate checkpoint with yellow stripes" is not so bad I think. Perhaps "Checkpoint gate with yellow stripes" is better. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Part Name Suggestion?

(...) Well, that's unexpected; the domain name changed from one day to the next. Here's the corrected link: (URL) Thanks again for looking. Dave! (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Byggis auction

(URL) Not my auction, and I won't be participating. The seller's in the UK, so consider the shipping costs if you're bidding. I have this set, oddly enough. You won't believe how lame the dinosaurs and vehicles are, but the bricks themselves are (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Part Name Suggestion?

(URL) is a checkpoint barrier from the Hangar 18 set in the Alien Agency series. The filename is c010113a.dat owing to its dimensions, but I'm stuck for a good part name. Currently I'm using "Gate, checkpoint with yellow stripes" but I'd be grateful (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
