Before placing a huge burden on Tore maybe we should see if anyone knows for
sure that we can't somehow order these for ourselves here in the states. A
few weeks ago Paul M. suggested to me that it might be possible to obtain a
catalogue and order directly from the manufacturer. Can anyone confirm or
deny this? I have contacted the supposedly correct person asking for the
catalogue, but I haven't recieved even so little as a reply email. If anyone
has such a catalogue, could we get scans of the sets and basic information
for each one? Stuff like: how many elements are in each set?
If we DO need to order through Tore, is the place in question a store one
walks into or is it mail order only? If Tore can walk in, maybe an
exploratory visit might be in order, right? I would also like to know if any
of the smaller Coko sets are also available -- the sets that are maybe small
enough to be cool, but not large enough to merit their own picture in the
store's catalogue.
I'd be interested in the following castle accessory sets if they can be had
(I am guessing wildly that they might be under $1 USD each):
#12601
#12602
#12603 (should have a black axe)
#12604
#12605 (should have chrome swords)
#12606
I am particularly interested in the bits of chrome. Do these pink castles
have chrome knights with chrome sabres?
Satisfying my own peculiar interests, I came up with the following
correspondences with the current catalogue using the Internet Wayback
Machine thing (I think I used this URL to search
http://members.xoom.com/legohead/):
#13 Fantasy #26422, 947 pcs. $38 USD
#15 Pirate #68720, 355 pcs. $20 USD
#18 Sweet Home #75210, 323 pcs. $16 USD
#25 Pirate #68721, 671 pcs. $38 USD
#29 Castle #26305, 158 pcs. $7.50 USD
#31 Castle #26315, 142 pcs.(?) $18 USD
#32 Castle #26325, 1030 pcs. $38 USD
#33 Castle #26320, 736 pcs. $28 USD
#34 Castle #26303, 158 pcs. $5.50 USD
Just really quick here, that's 4520 elements for approx. $209 USD if you
ordered them all!!! That's just 0.046 cents an element.
