Andreas,
This model is great! Absolutely an 'El-Caracho' creation! LEGO: contract the
guy, because his creations are better than yours!!
I can imagine you love this car very much. When I was a little boy (six of
seven I guess) my parents gave me a car quartet game. On one of the cards
this car is shown. And I also liked the data underneath it: 262 km per hour,
0 - 100: about 5 or 6 seconds?? I can't remember it (I still have those
cards, but I don't know where I put them). So as you've mentioned also, I
like this M1 more than any Ferrari, Lamborghini or any other Italian super
car. It's very rare, I never saw one in real life :-(
Anyway, the shape of your model is perfect. When I saw the small pictures on
Lugnet I immediately thought: oh ooh, an El-Caracho creation. And, of
course, I wanted to see the rest. But the scale is about 1:11,5 if I'm
right? Next time make it 1:13, so I can use it as a heavy haulage escort ;-)
When are you going to build my favorite brand:

This is a wolf in sheep clothing! Five cylinder 2.2 litres, 315 hp by
Porsche turbo intercooled engine, max. speed 262 km per hour, 0 - 100 within
5.5 seconds etc.?

| Hi folks! I just finished building the original "M" car, the BMW M1. Only 450 of the real ones were built, and even less out of Lego bricks, I guess :-) Unlike most people, who probably favor Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches or whatever, I would (...) (22 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.modelteam) !!
