I've uploaded two pictures. Scanned with my low quality scanner.

http://www.student.tue.nl/u/e.v.wichen/misc/retracted.jpg

In this picture you see the crawler tracks UNDER the upper machinery. This
is retracted.

http://www.student.tue.nl/u/e.v.wichen/misc/extended.jpg

In this picture you see the crawler tracks on the SIDE the upper machinery.
This is extended.

I hope it's clear now.

- The crawler tracks can be extended from 275 mm (transportation) to 370 mm
wide (operational).

From picture, I don't understand if and how, the crawler tracks runs.
Can you add further most detailed pictures about?

Thanks
Andrea
